POST IMPLANT INSTRUCTIONS

1. We have kept a sterile gauze over the operated area, bite upon the gauze firmly for one hour. After 1 hour remove the gauze with your finger & safely dispose it.
2. Don’t gargle your mouth with water or any mouthwash for another 24 hours.
3. Avoid probing the area with your finger or tongue over the operated area.
4. Give ice fermentation for another 3-4 hours.There is no use in giving ice fermentation on the next day. Avoid giving hot fomentation.
5. Don’t gargle with warm saline water.
6. You can use betadine mouthwash for gargling on next day itself.

      7.Take liquid or semisolid food for another 3 days. Avoid taking hot /hard food items.

8. Avoid taking aerated drinks.
9. Don’t use any straw to drink water/juices.

     10.Avoid taking spicy food for 2 days.

11. Avoid smoking and alcohol for 3 days.

    12.Avoid lot of speaking on the first day, as it may disturb the blood clot.

    13.Mild oozing of blood will be seen in the operated area.

    14.Mild swelling over the face is quite normal in few occasions. If the swelling is more don’t hesitate to contact us.

15. Take the medicines on time without skipping. Not taking the medicines properly may lead to pain, infection &delayed healing.
16. If the medicines cause any allergy or adverse reactions, stop the medicines & contact us immediately.
17. Mild discomfort is quite normal in few situation. In case of severe pain, contact us immediately.

Correctly following the above will ensure speedy recovery & healing of the extracted wound/surgical site.
